Introduction:
This tutorial is aimed at describing the various functions of the Kismet entities found in the 'Variables' portion of the Kismet Context Menu.

Assumed knowledge: 'Intro to Kismet' and how to create a simple test map (BSP, a light, a pathnode, and a playerstart).

Variables, generally, are set information created in kismet that aid actions & events in a level. They are also handily color-coded by type.

*Note: After reading the 'Intro To Kismet' tutorial, you should know how to create Kismet entities through its context menu.
